Scrapbooking Retreat in Missouri

I have gotten more scrapbooking done this year than I have in ages . . . and that's because I have been treating myself to a scrapbooking retreat every couple of months. Oh, heck, who am I kidding? About every month! I'm now co-hosting the crops, which is very exciting. I've never done anything like that before and it is an absolute ball to be planning something that I enjoy so much (some of you may have cropped with me at Remember This in Mexico - man, I miss the Crop Around The Clock!!).

Anyway, if you want to get away with other scrappers and not break the bank, give our Keeping It Simple Scrapbooking Weekend Crops a shot. They're held at the Howard Johnson (formerly Best Western) near the I-70/63 interchange in Columbia, Missouri. The session pricing is:

Entire weekend (2 pm Fri - 6 pm Sun) - $30
One Day Fri/Sat (2 pm Fri - 4 pm Sat) - $25
One Day Sat/Sun (4 pm Sat - 6 pm Sun) - $25
All Day Sat (9 am - 9 pm) - $20

Registration includes 6 feet of cropping space, plus use of an Expression and other tools and equipment. There are a couple of mini-stores available if you forget anything (OK - I showed up at my first one with no pictures - that, we can't help you with . . . but if you need adhesive, I'll have some available for sale!).

Oh - and one more handy tip - if you go online to Howard Johnson reservations, you can get a better rate than you can get by calling the hotel and asking for the crop rate!

The next crop is October 1 - 3, and there will be another on November 5 - 7. So, mark your calendar now - only 2 more crops left in 2010! Plan to join us for at least one! Email me for a registration form - elle at ellerobb dot com.
