Happy Father's Day
I am a firm believer in using your talents. Unfortunately, I have few. I can write, I can scrapbook, but that's about it. I enjoy taking pictures, but am not very good at that yet (YET being the operative word - I took a photography class yesterday and learned a lot that I hope to incorporate soon!). So I was thinking the other day about how I could use my talents to celebrate Father's Day. Money is tight these days, but I want to do something for my dad and for my husband. So, here's the plan.
My husband opened a gun shop last fall, Shooters Central. So, I told him I would create a website for him today. He's outside cleaning out the shop right now, but yeah, he thought that would be great. So, we'll work on that later today.
But what about my dad? I'm thinking maybe a photo that I could frame for him. But what? I am absolutely clueless. What would mean something to him? Maybe a pic of him fishing? Maybe a framed collage from when we were younger? This one is going to take a little more thought, and I need to think fast!
For all of you who are fathers, Happy Fathers Day!!

I found the coolest photo of a UP train at the Fulton Street Fair this year. It was matted in black to an 11 x 14 size. I then bought a huge 16 x 20 frame, matted in white. Inserted the train pic and black matting into the white matting and black frame. AWESOME, incredible "wall art" that Mike is going to love.
Great minds must think alike, girl!
