NaNoWriMo: Day 2

NaNo tip of the day: Write in increments, no matter how small they might be. I call this Elle's Law of Sevens. Write at least seven words when you get up in the morning (betcha get more than seven!). Jot at least seven sentences when you're at lunch. When you're in the car commuting, think about what you'll write when you get home. Write at least seven paragraphs before you eat supper. Take advantage of those little bits of time, they really add up!

NaNo prompt of the day: Lair - use the word "lair" in your story. It can be an animal's lair, your main characters house, or your James Bond bad guy's secret hideout.

In my world, Supreme General Greene is in his Mobile Command Center at the mall, ready to try his involuntary hypnosis experiment again . . . what's happening in your world?

Sounds like good advice, Elle! I wrote 1,607 words on the lappy this morning while waiting for my dog to have her morning run. She is now le exhausted, and I'm getting ready to write more. I just added a NaNo page to my website to keep track of my daily progress.
