I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all who attended my book release party yesterday. It was a rousing success! It was at Westwood Coffee in Fulton, and there was a constant stream of people. Several left very nice notes of congratulations in my guest book. For those of you who know me personally, you know how difficult it was for me to put myself out there like that. I don't like being the center of attention, and nearly made myself sick worrying about this party. But I know that I have to get over that fear if I am to be successful as an author. The outpouring of support and encouragement was much appreciated! I had a wonderful time, and hope my readers enjoy my writing as much as I enjoy writing it.

I picked up the Fulton Sun newspaper today and was thrilled to see an article about me on the front page. It was below the fold, but STILL!! It was a well written article, and I think Jon Hetsel did a very nice job. He interviewed me Friday, so I was anxious to see how the article turned out. Thanks, Jon!
